What Fascinates Me

About Trekking Actually

“Hiking doesn't have to be reserved for the "outdoorsy";

it's for everyone, and it's well worth taking the initial step.”

As residents of Asia,

we are blessed with a wide array of national parks,
mountains, rainforests, and volcanoes, as well as waterfalls and caves that are all available for exploration. Nowadays, where life is so stressful and full of pressure, we find it beneficial to get away from the concrete jungle and be in the presence of nature. It is important to stay active in this way, and hiking is a great way to do so. But what is the big deal about hiking?

Researchers published a study in The Proceedings of the National Academy of Science that found "exposure to nature has a counteractive effect on stress and anxiety: those who took the nature walk had a less rumination-that acute focus on problems than those who did the urban walk". You can cleanse your mind from the stress and worries of everyday living by going on an active holiday or trekking outdoors.

A whirling ballet of thoughts, thrills, notes, and dreams make a trekker celebrate life like a hedonist. Trekkers' passion for adventure, exploration, and voyaging makes them stand out from the rest of the pack. Trekking provides me with clarity, precision, and intelligence, and this is not just a trite saying.

There is no greater pleasure in the world than to spend time with yourself, and trekking offers it in abundance. Watching spectacular nightfalls and the crack of dawn, as well as gawking at stars and luminaries, can never be expressed in words as the luxury of the hours spent in the lap of mountain ranges.

This is not it, there are many other reasons why I love trekking and encourage others to do the same in order to escape from their regular lives. Trekking provides a number of benefits but here I am going to enlist the top benefits such as, It connects me with roots

  • Holistic physical exercise
  • I love hiking because it forces me to disconnect
  • I love hiking because it helps my mental health
  • I get a chance to meet new people
  • Hiking frees my mind and provides space to think
  • Forget the meaning of comfort zone
  • Trekking helps me to stay in touch with nature
  • It is cost-effective
  • Overall hiking makes me fit

In addition to improving your physical health, trekking has other benefits as well. The trail gives your entire body a workout as you climb boulders, jump rocks, and ascend hills, improving your leg and core strength, agility, and cardio health. Furthermore, it is an excellent way to lose weight, since you can burn around 600 calories per hour when you carry a full pack. I bet you'd rather do it outside than spend the same amount of time in the gym! In fact, for me,

"As soon as I move my legs, my mind begins to flow."

It's so amazing how much power I feel behind my legs, how much rock I feel under my feet, how familiar it feels when I feel that familiar burn in my lungs up the steep parts. I have been feeling grateful for my body lately, with all its imperfections, and for the opportunities it gives me.

A hike is not a means to an end, but a means to realize that traveling slowly and happily is more important than arriving. Enjoy the view, let your heartbeat, listen to your own voice that says you are a crazy beautiful soul, and laugh as you realize you are doing it for yourself.

Frequently, human beings juggle several aspects of life: work, raising a family, taking care of aging parents, along with running errands on a daily basis. We are frequently preoccupied with looking after everyone and everything else that we overlook our own needs. Our self-assurance may also dwindle along the road.

We might easily lose our sense of ourselves, but when we participate in an adventure activity with a group, such as a mountain trekking or hiking, we find aspects of ourselves that we may have forgotten about. How you react to strangers, what kind of personalities you connect with; how much physical challenge you can take; and how good an impact all of these have on your emotional self are all factors to consider. Trekking may bring all of this out, allowing us to realize our full potential while also giving us the confidence to accept our flaws.

This is self-evolution, Charles Darwin once said that,

“It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.”

So what are you waiting for?

Go for a hike man.
